🗑️ Account Deletion Overview

In accordance with Google Play's User Data policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act 2023), you have the right to request the permanent deletion of your Peer Pooling account and all associated personal data.

❌ Permanently Deleted
  • Mobile phone number & Auth profile
  • Quarter / Colony house number
  • Vehicle registration & Driving License
  • Direct UPI ID for fuel sharing
  • Push notification (FCM) tokens
  • Active ride offers & open seat bookings
⚖️ Retained with Legal ID
  • Completed past trip manifests (Motor Vehicles Act Sec 66 compliance)
  • Pseudonymized passenger history
  • Cryptographic Legal Reference Token
  • Statutory safety audit logs (purged after legal limitation period)
Important Notice: Once your account is deleted, your active login session is revoked immediately. You will no longer be able to access ongoing pools, and your community trust score will be reset.

⏱️ Processing Timeline & In-App Option

  1. In-App Deletion: You can also tap "Delete Account & Delete Data" inside the app under Colleague Profile > Account Settings.
  2. Verification: For web/email requests, we verify the request against the registered mobile number within 24 to 48 hours.
  3. Purge Completion: All personal identification records, vehicle credentials, and phone numbers are permanently removed from production databases within 30 calendar days.
